Remember our post on Ice Prince hiding to record his album? Well the much awaited EVERYBODY LOVES ICE PRINCE is finally out. With a fabulous album launch at the Eko hotel and suites parading fashion conscious guests and who is who in the Nigerian music industry. The Nigerian celebrities all came out dressed up and a few people flew in from
South Africa and some other countries.
From Channel O to Studio 53, the media houses were well represented including your darling Naija Whistle.
The chocolate city boys had a good performance on the live band with M I on the keyboard. Other performances were by Wizkid, Jahbless and the Jor o crew, Funke Akindele and Davido.

THE ASSASINATION OF JESSE JAGZ

If you’re thinking Jesse Jagz, has joined the list of musicians to be assassinated like 2pac and Biggie, then you’re totally wrong. The self-acclaimed Omo Abaga revealed the album title of his sophomore work as “The assassination of Jesse Jagz”. The revelation was made in a recent interview with The beat 99.9 FM prompting the radio presenter to react and warn him about how powerful his words can be.  Jesse Jagz says he has finished work on his second album which he plans to release in December 2011 or January 2012. Already 3 songs off the album Demo, Choc boy swag and Lasgidi grinding are already on promotion and are up for free downloads from the internet.

The chocolate city producer also revealed the release date of MI’s Illegal music 2 mixtape as

October 4th and the launch date of the Everybody Loves Ice Prince’s album as October 9^th after its market release. The first single frmm MI's illegal music 2 can be downloaded HERE

In a recent development, Brymo another “Choc boy” plans to release a new single titled ARA (mystery). It is our hope this new song will be a smashing hit like he did in OLEKU with Ice prince.
