Behold the much talked about Calabar carnival known as Africa’s largest street party took place in pomp and pageantry. With a large crowd of onlookers with an array of masks and costumes on display, it was an unending thrill all through the Christmas event. Celebrities and dignitaries in attendance were
past and present governors of Cross River state Donald Duke and Liyel Imoke, all clad in costumes and were sighted catching serious fun. Nollywood stars and a lot of Nigerian and international musicians were also there to grace the Calabar event. The carnival girls could be described as “wild and ready to mingle” just like Rihanna during her home countries’ owncarnival.Enjoy pictures from the carnival which is one of the main tourist attractions in Nigeria.

Be very careful what you say. Your mixing pictures up from God knows where and calling it calabar carnival. Out of all the pictures u posted, only the first few are actually from the carnival. And i suggest you go back and do your home work. I was part of the carnival and we are not wile and ready to mingle. We have clean fun while promoting the state through our costumes and dance interpretations.
