WYCLEF ACCUSED OF CHARITY FUND DIVERSION

Wyclef Jean has been alleged to have diverted the bulk part of the funds raised during the Haitian earthquake cisis to his family pockets.New York post reported that Wyclef's foundation raised about $ 16 million in 2010 but spent only about $5.1 million on emergency releif. They reported part of the funds being released to P & A constructions a company run by
Warnel Pierre, Wyclef's brother inlaw and another large sum of $1,008,000 going to a company called Amisphere Farm Labour Inc which has no operating liecense in Florida.During the public scrutiny of the money collected by the Wyclef dund in January 2010, Jean responded saying, ""Have we made mistakes? Yes. Did I ever use Yele money for personal benefit? Absolutely not." Wyclef is no longer the head of the charity as he resigned since August 2010.
