Most people think the use of make up by a woman signifies
she is not beautiful which  is not true. It complements the looks of a woman and enhances her beauty without using necessarily expensive cosmetics. It doesn't have to be cheap. Make up focus on features on the face which are somewhat hidden without it.
Most ladies make the mistake of applying too many different colors because they match the color on their clothes and end up looking like clowns and this should be avoided as much as possible.
Here are a few tips for the ideal everyday look:
1. Use a foundation, matte powder or loose powder that matches your skin color until it looks somehow invisible. Apply foundation with a make up brush and if not available, massage and blend well into facial skin. Hide all spots and marks with a concealer then apply the matte powder to keep in place.

2.For the eyes, when wearing a colorful outfit do not put all the colors on your face except you are good at blending. Just go for a color that blends well into all the colors you have in your outfit. For example if you are wearing a light green top, DO NOT wear light green eye shadows, look for a darker shade of green. If a light blue top, apply a "teal" almost blue black color and blend well with brush. Make sure to apply below the crease i.e (the contour of the eye below the eyebrow)and blend in well or go for a brown mineral eye shadow that complements your skin color.
Outline the eyes with a black eyeliner on the base of your eyelash so as to make them look whiter .

3. use a brown eye pencil to feather strokes along the eyebrow making it full at the start and thinner as you get to the arc then use a dry brush to put the hair into place.

4. Outline the lips with a brown lip liner or the color of the lipstick you intend wearing. Do not line lips with black. Then wear your lipstick into the space created by the liner not above or on the line and massage in with your third finger or smack lips together. Add a little lip gloss for shine if necessary.

5.Re powder face to seal the make up in and finish with a mascara to highlight your face. In the case of blush, just a little would do so you don't go looking like you dipped your face in pink paint.
