Wande coal used to be Mo’ Hits golden boy and a toast to the Nigerian ladies because of his unique voice and singing style.
His Mushin 2 Mo’ hits album was a success
having over 6 hits and featuring label mates D’banj, Dr SID, D’ Prince , K Switch and Ikechukwu aka Skillz and produced by Don Jazzy.His fame brought along controversies which include the Kelly handsome beef, his naked pictures on the internet and a rumoured drug addiction problem which prompted him being flown to the US for rehab.
Mo’hits label mated D’ banj and Don Jazzy recently got signed to Kanye West’s GOOD music and are currently enjoying international exposure but the same cannot be said of him.
His absence from the music scene when he should have released a second album has caused reactions from his fans an d prompted a line from MI in nobody featuring 2 face Idibia.
Surely the price of fame is negligible to some but much for others.
I hope there is a turnaround in the dude’s once promising career.
